Jonathan Tanenbaum is a Partner on the Investment Team. His primary responsibilities include leading deal execution, thesis development and portfolio company oversight.  His responsibilities also include building firm processes and managing strategic initiatives at Soundcore. Prior to joining Soundcore, Mr. Tanenbaum was a Principal at TZP Group where, in addition to primary transaction execution and portfolio oversight responsibilities, he also helped to initiate and lead the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion program, among other firm process initiatives.  Prior to joining TZP Group in 2018, Mr. Tanenbaum was a Vice President at The Beekman Group where he focused on deal execution and portfolio company support across multiple industries.  Prior to Beekman, Mr. Tanenbaum was on the investment team of Sun Capital Partners in its New York office.  Mr. Tanenbaum began his career at J.P. Morgan in its Diversified Industries and Leveraged Finance investment banking groups.  Mr. Tanenbaum received a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of Chicago.
