Jarrett Turner

Jarrett Turner is Soundcore’s Founder and Managing Partner. Having worked in the private equity industry since 2007, Mr. Turner founded Soundcore Capital Partners in 2015. He is involved in all aspects of the firm’s activities, including directing Soundcore’s investment strategy and decisions, governance, fundraising, and investor relations, and leading the investment and portfolio company functions. Mr. Turner sits on the Investment Committees for Soundcore Capital Partners Fund I and Soundcore Capital Partners Fund II. Since Soundcore’s inception, he has supervised 91 completed acquisitions. Mr. Turner serves as a member of Soundcore’s Executive Committee, the firm’s governing and decision-making body for matters affecting its overall management and strategic direction. He was named to Private Equity International’s 40 Under 40: Future Leaders of Private Equity 2021. The annual Future 40 list recognizes individuals under the age of 40 considered to be rising stars and future leaders within the private equity industry. The final 40 were selected based on their career trajectory and their ability to influence the industry in the years ahead. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Alumni Corporation for Colgate University and serves on the Board of Trustees for Madison Square Boys & Girls Club. He formerly served on The Board of Trustees for Nest, a global micro-finance nonprofit. Mr. Turner received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Colgate University.
